Fitness Center Plans

The Aquinas Athletic Department is leading the charge to fundraise for a complete renovation of the fitness center located in the Sturrus Sports and Fitness Center building. This project has been a joint effort between faculty, coaches, and athletic administrators to provide a space on campus to meet the fitness needs of our Aquinas community. The overhauled space will include upgraded, additional cardio equipment, fourteen Olympic power racks with platforms and supplemental accessories, tower cable machines, and a 100-foot turf strip.

All proceeds from this donation campaign as well as our Athletics Hall of Fame fundraising efforts will launch the funding of the initial steps of this project.  In its entirety, the project will cost approximately $300,000.  Our goal is to see an immediate impact from your donations, and therefore we plan to complete the project in phases.  Our Phase 1 goal is to raise $150,000 for those immediate upgrades.
